Braving the capital’s chill for only a little while as she posed for photographer, the Mean Girls star topped her look with a black trench coat as she stood in patent heels.

As she left the venue, the actress stopped to sign autographs for waiting fans.

She continued: ‘Next stop. 1 year #OLEANNA #lindsayposner #davidmamet thank you all for your support bless thank you @oprah for being a part of this process and happiness.’

The caption referenced another play by Speed-The-Plow playwright David Mamet, Oleanna, which ran on Broadway in 2009.

In addition to Oleanna, the actress expressed her gratitude to TV legend Oprah Winfrey, whose network OWN aired the docu-series Lindsay earlier in 2014.

The short-lived series chronicled Lindsay as she took up a residence in New York City following her stint in rehab

Following her show, Lindsay made the leap from the screen and onto the stage as Hollywood receptionist Karen in the revival of Speed-The-Plow.

Her portrayal of Karen, a role that once belonged to Madonna, received many mixed reviews, including observations that Lindsay didn’t know her lines by heart during an early run of the play.
